So lets get a wedding update shall we?

Our wedding date is 132 days away!? WHHHAATTT??

I feel like our planning is going SO slow and I'm freaking out (on the inside) a bit

Bridesmaids looks are completely DONE! CHECK!

Groomsmen looks are done EXCEPT we have a few that need to go order their suit! ::throat clearing and sideways glancing::

Flower girl look is DONE!

Need to order the Ring Bearers bow ties and then they will also be DONE!

We are slowly making installments to all of our vendors! ( this is the part that is freaking me out!)

Invitations are all done except for minor assembling and they will be going out in 10 weeks!

My Bridal shower has been booked for an adorable place in ATL called the Cupcake Lounge! We are doing a fun cupcakes and cocktails theme!:)

My Honeymoon shower in underway

& my girls wont tell me a single thing about my Bachlorette Party!

I'm a little schizophrenic when it comes to this wedding! one minute I'm SO excited and the next im so stressed out about finances I wonder if we shouldn't have just eloped!

I know in the end its gonna be great and so special! I cant wait until September 27th..i probably wont be able to sleep because I'llbe so GIDDY!

In Other News!: Jake and I have started looking for our first home! (is it bad that I'm slightly more excited about this than the wedding??)

We are looking in the areas of Waleska, Ball Ground and Acworth! I know God will guide us to the right spot for us! We are VERY excited!

Lots of new and Fun things coming up for us in the next 6 months! AAAGGHH!

Its been a while!

Sorry! Ive been a bad blogger! Lets see what Can i update you on?

First...contrary to my last blog we decided against boots for our girls! We were afraid we were getting TOO rustic and Not enough Elegant like we want. So we decided on a woven wedge, still not super fancy but not too casual. Here's a picture!
 These are by Fergalicious and are SOO cute! The girls all seem to like them!

I also ordered my jewelry (finally made a decision):
 These were the last pair a lady on etsy had and I think they are perfect for my dress! They even have baguettes like my E-ring!

Since my last post we have booked our photographer (www.katieriver.com) and booked our catering company! Finally some things are getting done!

We are still working on getting our DJ booked, getting our cake tasting booked, and finishing up our Centerpiece ideas! I still feel like I have a TON to do and less than 200 days to do it! ARRGGHH! I know ill be calling on my girls soon to help out with all this STUFF!

If I could give any advice to other planning brides is don't stress so much over the details! I was having such a hard time making decision on things like Bridesmaids shoes and my jewelry..I finally got super frustrated and over it and just made a decision and checked it off! I'm so glad I did because in the end no one will remember what my girls had on their feet or what necklace i had on!

OOOHH! how could I forget? WE CHOOSE OUR HONEYMOON DESTINATION! I cant freakin wait!

COWBOY BOOTS!

Weve decided to whole-heart-ed-ly embrace the rustic feel of our wedding! The girls have all decided they love the BM dress with cowboy boots! And I think it looks pretty fab myself! Here it is! What do YOU think?

Tomorrow I am off to a bead show to pick out the beades for the custom necklaces I am having made! I cant wait to see them all come together!

Totally non-wedding related!

I am officially entering the "adult world"! For those of you who don't know I graduated in June from a surgical technologist program and I've been trying and trying and TRYING to find a job ever since! Well..GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT! I got offered a job at a local hospital as an OB tech! I get to assist in Cesarean sections, vaginal births AND I get to assist in the NICU with all teeny babies! I am SO excited! This job is RIGHT up my alley! SO excited! And now that ill be DOUBLING my income I can actually have the wedding I've got brewing in my head! Yippee!!:)

STD

hehehe that titles makes me giggle...and kind of grimace too! For those of you not up on the wedding lingo that's Save The Date :)..now don't you feel a little better about reading further into this blog LOL

So Jake and I had pretty much decided NOT to do STD's...its really just an extra cost isnt it? unless you are someone who has alot of OOT (OUT OF TOWN..for the wedding lingo impaired) guests. However i ran across this adorable STD/Christmas card on etsy and since we send out Christmas cards every year anyway we decided this was perfect! We can have STD and technically save money because its doubling as our Christmas card this year! Here is the final product!

The BEST part? I got 75 of these puppies including shipping for $6.22! yup! I simply edited them in picnik.com, ordered them as prints from snapfish and with the code PENNYNOV I got each print for a penny a piece! woohoo!!! I cant wait to send these cuties out!:)

Bridesmaids attire

 We have found our Bridesmaid dress! When I started Bridesmaid dress shopping I knew I wanted 4 things: First off I did not want a "normal" bridesmaids dress (you know what I mean. the stiff material that you will NEVER wear again) I wanted a beautiful shade of blue, flowy material and I wanted a belted dress. I wasn't sure I would ever find it! After searching through 283,363,827 dresses I came across this beauty

and this is what it looked like when I took Erin and Tracy to try it on!

(these were a size or two too big, but all they had in store)

I LOVE IT!

Today I get a message from one of my girls that the dress has gone on sale for 58$! My last three bridesmaids ordered it today at the sale price (yay) and the bridesmaids who already had paid full price were able to call Customer Service and get the difference credited back to their account! I am sooo excited that my girls are getting their Bridesmaid dresses for such a great deal!  Now to find the accessories!:)
