My Fiance and I just started Marriage counseling this past Monday. "The Momentary Marriage" by John Piper is the first book he gave us to read. Along with the book he sent us this video to watch. It is truly inspiring and shows what a truly God centered marriage should look like. If you have a moment please take a moment to watch it! ( I also plan on doing a few posts as I go through the book!) Ive heard some great things about it! Has anyone else read this book? what are your thoughts?

That couple is so inspiring! Their story warms my heart.I think all couples go into marriage with the idea that "for better or worse, sicker or poorer" sounds sweet in theory. Sadly though, I think many couples take the time to play out just how bad worse can get or just how sick one of them might get or just how poor they may find themselves ending up for a season in life. Larissa was only Ian's girlfriend yet her love for him really showed the kind of love that is talked about in those vows.
